Founded in 2004 by Mary Nealon, Bear Creek Environmental (BCE) is a multidisciplinary firm providing consulting services in stream geomorphic assessment, biological investigation, water quality evaluation, stream habitat restoration, permitting, erosion prevention and sediment control, and geographic information systems (GIS). The woman-owned company is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Vermont Agency of Transportation. The BCE team is a diverse group of dedicated scientists combining their knowledge to protect and restore New England’s surface waters. Bear Creek provides consulting services to a varied range of clientele, from private ski resorts to regional planning commissions, town conservation commissions, engineering firms, state agencies, and more.
